Re-Invention

If you go through my 2009 resolution list...looks pretty good.. but have not kept or started on any of them... So i gotta start afresh now.. It's halfway through the year.. gotta move my (expanding) arse..

So where do i start.
1. Career - Naaaaa.. Content to let my career drift along for a year.. cos im getting some money n i got some obligations (p.s. buying a house :) .

2. Wealth - Needed to save.. On track.. (pat myself on the back).. although its at the cost of my interest in my work.. dont care.. still young..

3. Health -
a. Weight - Really wayyyyy behind my target.. cant find the motivation to lose some weight.. Looking at someone (some hot gal quest) or something (fit into my pants??) for a spark....But as of 06- 06 - 2009 i'm going to give it a try. First will have to check on my diet.. Will join a gym only if i have the 'will' to control my intake.

b. Smoking n Drinking - Again my smoking habits r constant.. have not reduced n have not even thought of reducing. Right now on half a pack / day. As of 06 - 06 - 2009 will start with limiting myself to 4 cigarettes (already had more than 6 today..so starts tomorrow).
n surprise surprise.... my capacity to hold my drink did not reduce.. expected to get sloshed on my 2nd drink over my recent (sigh!) holiday cos had some alcohol after 4 months... but well my Liver(is it?) still rocks..But have not increased my drink intake.. n right now in Saudi so drinking part on par :)

4. Further Studies - Refer point 1.. postponed for now.. will be drifting for a year..

Fingers crossed.. hoping for the best... any hot gal out there.. wanna give me some inspiration to lose weight?? always welcome ;)

Ok. So where was i... Aaah yes.. i landed in Bombay (Thanks to Indian Govt and Indian Airlines!!).

The next thing i remember is meeting all the possible relatives in bombay...borrringgg..

Was fascinated with Bombay..The life there is unique to it... n not for everyone (I luv it).
The hordes of people, traffic, noise was gr8 (i was 10).... remember the Kulfi guy used to come around 11.00 pm. Life was gr8 for sometime... somehow i remember rain.. n the roads filling up to waist height (not my waist).. for me it looked like a huge dirty swimming pool... tried sneaking off for a swim... but got caught n was grounded at home..
n did i tell u the houses in bombay were so freakin small... people staying in 1BK (Room with Kitchen). didnt matter to me though.
The rest of that Bombay trip is kinda hazy.

After all the Hi's n Bye's... starts the next part..

Saudia (Yawn!!!)

Working for Saudi Airlines on a project tat could go on till April 2010!!!

Saudi Arabia from Jan to April.. had a good month holiday in May..
Now im back in Saudia. Got a Logistics Go-Live on July 1st. So lotta work to do.

Cant say much about Saudi, but i dont think a country like this can sustain itself in the future. Once the oil dries up, there'l be lot of problems.... The danger looms ahead.

But for me it's been Ok..i take solace in the fact that i can atleast save some money here. Theres Abosulutely nothing to spend my moolah on :) which is a good thing for me.. So Jai Saudi!!!
Although professionaly not really learning anything and theres not much challenge in work. Starting to get bored with my work. Maybe i need to reinvent myself. As of now i'm BLANK. Got no plans, no ideas... i think (?) that this place is making me dumb.

Got bloogers block (is it called that?). Don't know what to put down here..
So for now enough of the status update on Career.

It just goes to show that once you start on a debt cycle, it usually never ends.
People love to live beyond their means... but when reality hits.. u end up with nothing much to live with.. It also has gotten me really angry on the slavery that has been going on over there...Thx to the recession the slavery will stop.. but wat would become of the slaves???

I have also been guilty of spending a lot from my credit cards... but then luckily stopped it when i started travellin outta India on work.

Right now the G20 summits going on.. Last week we had the Arab Summit.

Does anybody think we will get any solution out of these idiots who meet, bicker, position and finally come up with a weak ass resolution that nobody gives a rats ass about once the summit is done with...

n while the "rich" world talks n postures n generally pretends to care about other countries....Africa n other "poor" countries will die of poverty.

They should give up the pretence n just work to help their own country first. If America can fix itself.. then the rest of the world will follow... More interesting is the high possibility that America will not be the center of world finance anymore..Sure they will still control the IMF, UN, World Bank etc.. but China is gonna be the new America....

So Every Indian... better start Chini-Hindi bhai bhai...

1. If your lover betrayed you what would your reaction be?
Nil....i wouldnt react...as it would take time to sink in....but once it does, i'd go numb and then angry and then hate that bitch....n then move on (dont really know how long it wuld take)

2. If you could have one dream come true which one would it be?
Dont really want too much.... Couple of Billion dollars...1 or 2 football clubs...a fleet of airplanes....

Get to travel to outer space (costs only 20 million!!!)

Not really... don't hate anyone that bad....

Don't really know...... im moody sometimes n so nothing needs to happen to get me depressed..

I keep getting myself depressed for no reason at all...n this depression when it hits... it hits bad..

Can last weeks sometimes.

Right now a job for me is the way to make the most money... havent really figured out what i love to do...

Another year gone by... its time for each one of us to look back and be proud of all our achievements in 2008.....n learn from our failures...

Yup..its 2009...n therefore its resolution time...(this time i hope to keep it)

1. Lose 15 Kgs ...... n then some more....

2. Start saving up some money.

3. Lose weight... again?? lol

4. Reduce smoking to 2 cigarettes a day.

5. Lead a Healthy Life.

If i do manage to keep some of em...this will be my achievement for 2009 :)

A really good month's gone by...with that another year has passed...

Currently at BIAL airport...really jobless...waiting for the freakin flight to Saudi...

Dont know where to start from....

From as far as i can remember i have always had some or the other problem happen to me in my short life (not really complaining... made me tough)

Get Ready... Ready to bare out everything.

Born : Kuwait 23-03-1984

A few years later..........WAR!!!!!!!

It all started when Saddam Hussein tried to occupy Kuwait. The Gulf War started in August...My family left Kuwait in October.. So i had 2 months of living in a war zone (like in the movies...i actually saw soldiers firing at our house from their helicopters....heard a bomb blast in the desert opposite our house)

Ok.. So we left Kuwait in October...in a BUS!!!! No flights were allowed... So a convoy of buses left from Kuwait n to make things short... i got to stay in refugee camps for sometime on a desert along the Jordan river..got to eat food from the Red Cross... slept in tents..Life was Actually Good for me cos i was 10 years old n this was like a gr8 holiday.. (not for my parents though)

So somehow after we travelled through a couple more countries... dont remember which country there were flights available... My Dad had to stand in line for flight tickets for 3 days i think (not sure.. memory kinda hazy). Finally got tickets to leave for India from my nice "Holiday" :(

So I finally reached Bombay, India.

Its 1 am in the morning on the 30th November..
My current location : Jakarta
CNN is on. The Terror attack on my Mumbai is still on (more than 2 days now)

Question : What the fuck is happening to us. Why are human beings getting more n more barbaric.... I always thought as people get educated... they learn to think for themselves and get civilised...think rationally... and become more HUMAN.
THEN WHT THE HELL IS GOING ON.....

Answer : "RELIGION"???
No....... I dont think any religion in the world will condone this kind of barbaric acts... So why is it that Religion is the main reason for all these "Terrorist" acts???
Can anyone answer????????????????

Really terrible...I'm ashamed to call myself Human... when we have "animals" like these terrorists running around killing people... Y cant they go n kill themselves. Bloody Bastards.

Don't ask me, cos i got no idea what i'm supposed to be doing. Working on multiple technologies, creating Business Requirement specs, System Specs etc etc. I do all of em

Its like half the world i know is working for the future....but when do you start working and enjoying the present??
